Seeks Interim Music Director and Organist
* * * * Social Justice Council Seeks Your Input: In preparation for the January 2009 Congregational Social Justice Empowerment Workshop (please plan to come!) SJC is gathering information to share with the UUA facilitators who will help us assess our social justice programs and consider what we are doing to create a more just and caring world. Just down load the form, or stop by the SJC table after the Sunday service to pick up a hard copy or talk with an “SJC lounge lizard.” Thank you.
* * * * Some Ways to Support Relief Efforts in Myanmar (Burma) and China: The Social Justice Council would like to urge Cedar Laners to support relief efforts in response to the continuing humanitarian disasters created by Cyclone Nargis in Burma (Myanmar) and the earthquake in China earlier this summer. Some organizations that are working in these and other areas of need are listed below. Please see their websites for details. Thank you for your generosity.

Talk to the Board! The Board of Trustees has two new
mailboxes to expand
opportunities to hear from the congregation. The first is an e-mail address at board@cedarlane.org. The second is a mailbox among those in the office’s reception area. Whether via the Internet or in writing, the Board would love to hear from you. Of course, nothing replaces a conversation, so please stop by the reception desk after either Sunday service. A Board member is there to help with various activities, and to make it easy to find a trustee. A new way to find a Board member on Sunday morning is to look for a name badge printed on bright yellow paper.
