The general meeting is a potluck lunch on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June. Lunch at noon; talk at 1 pm. Examples include a report from the annual Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly, an annual Holiday Sing-a-Long, etc. It was a varied set of programs designed to attract different interests. Please bring a dish to serve 6 to 8 people.
About the February 2019 Lunch & Talk: Facing Illness & Grief: Finding Compassion & Support - Thursday, Feb 14, noon potluck / 1 pm talk: Jim Rossi, Director of Adult Bereavement at Caring Matters, will talk about that organization’s programs to provide compassionate social supports, without charge, through a trained volunteer network, serving children, adults and families facing life-threatening illness and experiencing grief. Also, the organization's community and professional education programs increase awareness and action around end-of-life issues, advance care planning and grief. Sponsored by Cedar Lane’s Alliance.
