The general meeting is a potluck lunch on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June. Lunch at noon; talk at 1 pm. Examples include a report from the annual Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly, an annual Holiday Sing-a-Long, etc. It was a varied set of programs designed to attract different interests. Please bring a dish to serve 6 to 8 people.
About the January 2019 Lunch & Talk: Join us as Cedar Laner Annette Scarpitta recounts the challenging and rewarding path to serving the marginalized village of Rwenena in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Annette will focus on new and transformational initiatives for “Rwenena Kids” mothers over the last 9 months: instruction in literacy and human rights, and intensive training and practice of permaculture principles. Please bring a dish to share as you are able!
