Poor People's Campaign Mass Rally

Saturday, June 23, 10 to 1 pm at the US Capitol

  • Offsite

It is important that Unitarian Universalists (UUs) show up in D.C. to support the Poor People's Campaign (PPC) -- a National Call for a Moral Revival -- rally concluding 40 Days of Action. Be present for this historic moment, like we were for March For Our Lives and the Marches for Women. The UUA, UUSJ, & Cedar Lane UU Church have endorsed the PPC. Anyone who strives to embody UU values and principles, please try to be in D.C. on the National Mall on June 23. Be present for this historic moment. Let’s revive our UU roots supporting Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s call for a PPC to begin a “revolution of values” in America. Help prove once again that UUs show up for the nation's moral well-being.

When & Where?

Gather on Saturday, June 23, by 9:30 am ET at 7th St NW & Indiana Ave NW to enter the rally by 10 am on the National Mall as a UU group (not just Cedar Lane members). Updates available via the UUSJ Facebook event.
