Cedar Lane is joyfully celebrating two centenarians this year! Catherine “Kay” Scott and Fred Peters both turn 100 in 2017, with Kay's birthday falling on September 29th and Fred's on November 1st.

Thanks to all volunteers who helped clean up Rock Creek last weekend! Altogether you collected 28 bags of trash and 4 bags of recyclables + 1 tire + 1 traffic cone + 1 ball + 2 garbage container lids.

In a few weeks we will receive a donation of a great 3 box composting system from an Eagle Scout in Montgomery County who build it. Brenda Platt, from the Institute of Local Self Reliance will advise us and teach us how to use it.

Nursery Attendant

We seek a person with experience working with infants and toddlers for this 4 hour a week position during the Program Year (September-June), from 8:30 to 12:30 pm Sunday Mornings.  2 hours a week during the summer, 9:30-11:30 am.
