BLOG: VOICES FROM CEDAR LANE

Welcome and Thank You

August 7, 2020

Please help us thank Roger Santodomingo and Mary Supley, two contractors who've stepped up to support Membership and Communications these past months. Their efforts for our congregation came at one of the most difficult times in our history and, for their commitment and excellent work, we're extremely grateful.

The arrival of COVID-19, with its effect on all aspects of church participation, created an even greater need to fill the position of Membership and Communications Coordinator. We’re now happy to announce that the position is filled.

Please welcome Nicole Kazi as our full-time Membership and Communications Coordinator. Nicole, whose first day will be August 17, most recently worked with the International Development Program at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC. She has a Masters in Liberal Arts from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (International Development) with a Minor in Creative Writing. She is also a polyglot who speaks English, Spanish, Bengali, and French, having grown up in Bangladesh and El Salvador. Her other interests include volunteering, reading and writing science fiction and fantasy, and trying to learn as much about the world as she possibly can. Welcome, Nicole!
