Yoga Nidra Concert performed by Eclipse Nirvana

Cedar Lane 21-22 Concert Series:

Eclipse Nirvana, based in L.A., creates and performs Electronic Bhakti Music. They are artists Aks, a composer, vocalist, and student of Oscar-winner AR Rahman, and his wife Lakshmi, a vocalist/ scholar with an M.A. in Religious Studies from Stanford University.

In light of COVID-19, they developed this unique Yoga Nidra experience – a concert of meditative mantras and bhajans that takes listeners on a full-body relaxation while enjoying the sounds of bhakti music, a musical meditation session. These mantras (Gayatri, Mrityunjaya, etc.) have long-lasting physical and mental benefits that are especially needed in these unprecedented times. Listeners, whether in-person or online, are invited to rest comfortably on the ground in shavasana or sit in a chair to fully benefit from all that the Yoga Nidra experience has to offer.
