Rev. MacLean graduated from Brown University and Harvard Divinity School, and was ordained and fellowshipped in 1960. In 1972, Rev. MacLean was called to Cedar Lane and served for 20 years before becoming our minister emeritus. In 1999, Ken began what grew to become an 11-year ministry to the Church of the Desert in Rancho Mirage, California.
Rev. MacLean was the founder and organizer of the Senior Ministers of Large Unitarian Universalist Congregations, served as the president of the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association, and served on the board of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
In 2014, he received the UUA's highest honor, the Award for Distinguished Service To The Cause of Unitarian Universalism. Read the citation here.
