Cedar Lane centers our worship life on a timeless spiritual theme each month. Part of our thematic ministry includes our own "Soul Matters" small group ministry program. We offer Soul Matters in conjunction with many other Unitarian Universalist congregations providing this meaningful ministry. You may learn more about this movement within Unitarian Universalism at http://www.soulmatterssharingcircle.com/.
Similar to other small group ministry programs, participants in Soul Matters gather monthly for opening and closing centering, personal check in and reflection on a spiritual question. However, these groups will invite us into even deeper engagement by drawing on the monthly theme, offering diverse resources beyond the group experience, and inviting participants into spiritual practice.
Soul Matters groups are for both long-time and new members of the Cedar Lane community. These groups are lay-led and are coordinated by Michelle Collins, our Interim Minister for Congregational Life.
