DESCRIPTION:What are the root causes of climate change\, biodiversity loss\, ocean acidification\, and other symptoms of our “overshoot” of Earth’s carrying capacity? What are the best ways to address our predicament? What is our moral and ethical response? ESG was founded in 2017 to explore these questions and more using a “systems thinking” approach. Our goal is to educate ourselves\, activist groups\, and the general public. We have a very active Google Group that allows us to share a wide variety of information\, and we meet twice per month to discuss what we’ve learned. We also host a number of speakers at events which we open to the wider public. Past speakers include Nate Hagens\, Charlie Hall\, Richard Heinberg\, Alice Friedemann\, Chris Clugston\, Jack Alpert\, John Seager\, Terry Spahr\, and Gaya Herrington.

DESCRIPTION:An Evening of Spiritual Development for Adults\nNot your typical church program\, Friday Night Flourish is a monthly gathering where spiritual curiosity meets embodied experience\, and the week gently gives way to wonder. \nJoin us on second Fridays of each month for this adults-only evening is designed for seekers who want spirituality that is alive\, immersive\, and felt in the body as much as the mind. Think candlelight instead of fluorescent lights\, exploration instead of lecture\, connection instead of obligation. \nEach Flourish features an experiential offering such as sound baths that melt stress\, heart-opening cacao ceremonies\, community tarot readings\, massage\, and other soulful practices meant to awaken insight\, release tension\, and invite joy. SUMMARY:Ecosystems Study Group
DESCRIPTION:What are the root causes of climate change\, biodiversity loss\, ocean acidification\, and other symptoms of our “overshoot” of Earth’s carrying capacity? What are the best ways to address our predicament? What is our moral and ethical response? ESG was founded in 2017 to explore these questions and more using a “systems thinking” approach. Our goal is to educate ourselves\, activist groups\, and the general public. We have a very active Google Group that allows us to share a wide variety of information\, and we meet twice per month to discuss what we’ve learned. We also host a number of speakers at events which we open to the wider public. Past speakers include Nate Hagens\, Charlie Hall\, Richard Heinberg\, Alice Friedemann\, Chris Clugston\, Jack Alpert\, John Seager\, Terry Spahr\, and Gaya Herrington.
