In this session, we’ll explore what it means to be a member of Cedar Lane - the commitments we make to one another, and the ways our community supports and nourishes its members. You’ll meet lay leaders and our Executive Director, hear about the many ministries and teams that shape our life together, from social justice to worship to community care, and discover practical ways to get connected and involved.
Author Sarah Towle, through extensive research and interviews, will update us on how US Border policies and conditions have changed for immigrants in the Trump2 era.
Join us for the unveiling of a plaque honoring John and Martha Giovanelli’s generous legacy gift to Cedar Lane. We’ll offer our thanks and reflect on how gifts like theirs help sustain our shared ministry.
Drop in for a confidential, in-person support circle for federal employees, contractors, and former feds/contractors. We’ll share, listen, and support one another through the shutdown’s impacts.
Join us for a potluck lunch to celebrate the fall season! Bring your friends & share--everyone is welcome! Let’s celebrate our community and be in solidarity together!
Join us after worship in this informal space to meet others, ask questions, and get a sense of our community. This is a great opportunity to meet other newcomers and explore how to get more connected in the Cedar Lane community.

We know it can be complicated to decide how much to pay, and there’s no one right answer for anyone. Many thanks to UU@UN for providing an equitable model for payments.
Consider paying at a lower tier if many of these are true for you:
Consider paying at a higher tier if multiple of these are true for you:
A reflection from Pronoia Coaching:
When I pay more, I know that I am helping others to access the event.
When I pay in the middle, I know I am helping the organizers cover costs.
And when I pay less, I know I am letting my community hold me and support me.
All of these are wonderful and acceptable ways of participating.
