In this session, we’ll explore what it means to be a member of Cedar Lane - the commitments we make to one another, and the ways our community supports and nourishes its members. You’ll meet lay leaders and our Executive Director, hear about the many ministries and teams that shape our life together, from social justice to worship to community care, and discover practical ways to get connected and involved.
Author Sarah Towle, through extensive research and interviews, will update us on how US Border policies and conditions have changed for immigrants in the Trump2 era.

There's always a place for you in the choir. Young, old, new, experienced, and lesser experienced all welcome! Individual training can be provided. Come share the joy of singing with your fellow Cedar Lane members and friends to provide regular music for worship services and other events throughout the church year. Rehearsals meet on Wednesdays at 7:30pm in the choir loft (upstairs from the sanctuary).
In November, the Alliance luncheon will feature SANDY BERNSTEIN COMEDY: Always self-deprecating, often irreverent, and sometimes playful, Sandy will regale us with outrageous tales that run the gamut from inappropriate selfies to the absurdities of office life. She is the host and performs at the “Give a Hoot Comedy Club.”
