The Flower Ministry Team provides decorative beauty and the spirituality of nature for Sunday Services via floral arrangements. Members take turns providing arrangements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Buy flowers/greens at Potomac Wholesale in Silver Spring, where we have account, or at a grocery store. Flowers/greens cut from gardens can also be used.

• Create an arrangement using one of the many containers/vases we have in our flower closet by early Saturday afternoon.

• Take a photo of the arrangement to send to the AV Team, so a slide can be created for the service.

• Clean up the arrangement before the following Friday.

• Ask for help/guidance from other team members at any point.

When We Meet

• Monthly, via Zoom, to talk about issues and chat.

• A few Saturdays a year, in the library, for a lunch potluck and schedule sign-up. The food is always delicious and the team good company.
