We are members of the Cedar Lane community who enjoy music, have had some musical experiences at some point in our lives (including singing in the shower!), and who have a desire to share their talents (musical, organizational, or otherwise) with the congregation.

We use our voices, our instruments, and our love of music to enhance Cedar Lane’s community life. We sing, ring, play piano, guitar, percussion, hammer dulcimer, and other instruments, plan services and concerts, and reach out to those in need of healing.

We welcome anyone with a special interest in music who would like to be part of a team that works with the director of music to envision the potential of the program.

Adult Choir

Bell Choir

The handbell choir emphasizes proper ringing techniques and good musicianship. If you can read music and want to try it out, we welcome you!

Children’s Choir

For ages 5 - 13, we sing in service about once per month, plus Christmas Eve and the Flower Sunday in June. The youth and children’s choirs do not require any previous experience or the ability to read music, and we aim for it to be accessible to all who want to sing.
