Journeywomen
Journeywomen is a supportive, spiritual community in which we explore meaningful life seasons, joys, and challenges that we encounter along our ongoing journeys. We are welcoming and grateful for the diverse gifts we share and the social bond and relationships we form.
We experience silence and share what is important in our lives through readings from varied sources. We listen, witness, and offer nonverbal support. We light candles for our departed group members and other ancestors.
Sometimes we speak into the silence and other times to the group with a spiritual or otherwise personal check-in. We sometimes use the monthly Soul Circles packet of resources as a springboard for our readings. Probably more often, each of us brings poetry, book excerpts, a video clip, or a photo whose meaning we want to explore.
In our reflective listening, we privilege humility toward the natural world as much as we do human cultures.
We gather on first and third Sundays (September-May).
Occasionally, we are in-person, sometimes also online, and sometimes only online. Please reach out to Magda for details on a specific week.
